Alan G. Gross

Alan G. Gross (* 1936) is Professor of Rhetoric and Communication Studies at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities .

He earned his Ph.D. 1962 at Princeton University and works on argumentation , the theory and rhetoric of science and communication studies. He worked on widely received articles a. a. on the philosophy of Chaim Perelman , about the correct interpretation of which he delivered a lengthy debate with James Crosswhite .
