Alban Bunjaku (born May 20, 1994 in London ) is a former Kosovar football player. The midfielder played for the Dutch football club FC Dordrecht until summer 2016 .
Career
Born in the London borough of Romford , Bunjaku joined the youth team at Arsenal in 2002 . Previously, he worked for local clubs Ascot United and Eastbrook. For the U-18 of the Gunners, he scored 15 goals in 23 appearances. In the summer of 2012, Bunjaku moved to the Spanish second division club Sevilla Atlético. He scored one goal in ten games for the reserve team of the first division club Sevilla FC . During his time there he was loaned to Slavia Prague . With the Czechs he was only used in the second team.
He returned to England in June 2014 and joined Derby County . In the following year and a half he spent most of the time on the field for the reserve team. His contract was terminated at the beginning of 2016 by mutual agreement.
On January 18, 2016, Bunjaku moved to the Dutch second division club FC Dordrecht .
National team
Bunjaku was eligible to play for both the English and Albanian football associations. In 2012 he was nominated for the Albanian U-19 national team.
In 2014 he was appointed to the Kosovar national soccer team. He made his debut on May 21, 2014 in a friendly against Turkey .
