Albergaria-a-Velha e Valmaior is a municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese town of Albergaria-a-Velha .

The municipality was created on September 29, 2013 as part of the administrative reorganization in Portugal from the merger of the municipality of Albergaria-a-Velha and the municipality of Valmaior .

10,568 inhabitants live in an area of ​​47 km² (as of June 30, 2011).
