São João de Loure e Frossos is a municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of the Portuguese town of Albergaria-a-Velha .

The municipality was created on September 29, 2013 as part of the administrative reorganization in Portugal from the merger of the municipalities of São João de Loure and Frossos . The seat was São João de Loure.

2,896 inhabitants live in an area of ​​18.18 km² (as of June 30, 2011).
