Albert Bozenhard Ring

The Albert-Bozenhard-Ring is an award for the best and most worthy actor of the Thalia Theater in Hamburg .

It is named after the actor Albert Bozenhard , who worked as an actor in Hamburg for 55 years (1875–1930). It was also he who passed his ring on to Ernst Leudesdorff in 1939 . In 1945 it went to Willy Maertens , in 1968 to Manfred Steffen . In 2006 he handed the ring over to Christoph Bantzer . The price is not endowed, the next carrier is determined solely by the owner.
