Albert Schweitzer Prize (Basel)
The Albert Schweitzer Prize was awarded annually from 1971–2004 by the Basel Johann Wolfgang von Goethe Foundation. The prize was endowed with 30,000 francs and was awarded to personalities who had distinguished themselves through their exemplary and unselfish work.
