The Albert Schweitzer Realschule in Bocholt is a public school for boys and girls founded in 1948; the school is run by the city of Bocholt.

The main building with the school management, the secretariat and the school auditorium is located at Herzogstraße 14. In the three school buildings at this location (Auf der Recke, Sondergebäude, Herzogstraße) there are grades 7 to 10 with their classrooms, the scientific rooms (physics , Biology, chemistry), a teaching kitchen, the room for career orientation and a PC room. The former water tower of the city of Bocholt is used by two classes, and there is also a PC room there.

Grades 5 and 6 are taught in the branch on Stenernerweg. There are nine classrooms, the school's media library (reading island), a PC room and science rooms for the lower grades. In 2015 the former Langenbergschule was completely rebuilt, modernized and relocated for the 2015/2016 school year.

Due to the longer distances between the school buildings, the break times between the individual lessons have been extended to 10 instead of 5 minutes; the first lesson begins at 7:55 a.m.
