Albert Davidson Michael

Albert Davidson Michael (born May 5, 1836 in London , † May 29, 1927 ) was a British zoologist , specialist in mites.

He published monographs on horn mites (Oribatida) and Tyriglyphidae (a nomenclature no longer in use today for mites, which today are largely included in Glycyphagoidea, Acaroidea and Anoetoidea)

From 1893 to 1896 he was President of the Royal Microscopical Society . He was their Fellow and Fellow of the Linnean Society of London and the Zoological Society of London .
