Albert Dragstedt

John Albert Dragstedt ( 1933 - October 30, 2016 ) was an American philosophy professor.

Life

Dragstedt studied classical literature and philosophy in Oberlin, Chicago and at the University of California, Berkeley . He taught at Saint Mary's College of California for nearly 40 years and lectured at St. John's College in New Mexico.

Albert Dragstedt was an active member of the Trotskyist Socialist Equality Party and its forerunner, the Workers League.
