Albert Hanlin Crews (born March 23, 1929 in El Dorado (Arkansas) ) is a former colonel in the United States Air Force and former USAF astronaut , but who did not complete a space flight.

Crews received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1950 and a Masters of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 1959 . He was selected in the second group of Dyna-Soar astronauts on April 20, 1962 , and as a Dyna-Soar pilot that same year on September 20. In 1963 the Dyna-Soar project was completed and on November 12, 1965 crews were selected for the first group of astronauts at the Manned Orbiting Laboratory (MOL). In June 1969 with the completion of the MOL project, crews moved to NASA at the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center in the Flight Crew Directorate area. He stayed as a pilot with NASA and flew planes like Super Guppy and Martin B-57 Canberra . He also worked at the Shuttle Avionics Integration Laboratory until he retired at the age of 65.
