Albert Katschen
Albert Katschen was titular bishop of Sidon and auxiliary bishop in the diocese of Cammin in the 15th century .
Albert Katschen came from Greifswald and was a Dominican . On June 20, 1455 he was by Pope Kalixt III. elevated to the rank of auxiliary bishop in Cammin, with the titular bishopric of Sidon . In the relevant entry in the log books , his name is written as Albertus Kaeschen .
When the University of Greifswald was founded in 1456, he was a member of the founding council. Here he received his doctorate in theology and worked as a professor of theology.
