Albert Naumann

Rudolf Albert Naumann (born May 19, 1875 in Plauen , † July 14, 1952 in Lübben ) was a German fencer . He fought at the Dresden fencing club.

successes

Naumann took part in the Olympic Games in London in 1908 in sword and saber singles. In both competitions he was eliminated in the first round. At the Olympic Games in 1912 , he started in foil singles. Here, too, he did not get beyond the preliminary round with only one win and four defeats.

At the national level, Naumann was fourth at the German championships in foil fencing in 1914. In 1906 he won a national foil tournament in Berlin, in 1911 he also came second with the foil at an international tournament in Dresden.

Around 1909 Naumann was chairman of the Dresden fencing club.
