biography
Albert White began playing the guitar in the 1950s. When he was 9 years old, he began to love the blues, especially the guitar parts. His uncle, Piano Red , gave him an old guitar and gave him guitar lessons from his bandmate Wesley Jackson. In high school he had his first band, with which he regularly performed at various colleges.
He played in Piano Red's band "Piano Red and the Interns" until his death, where he played with Beverly "Guitar" Watkins, with whom he has a lifelong friendship. After Piano Red's death he played guitar with the " Tams " until the early 1970s , then with Hank Ballard and the Midnighters . Today he is on the road with Music Maker Revue, an all-star group that raises money for the Music Maker Relief Fund, a non-profit organization that supports musicians in need.
