Albert Zimmermann (politician)

Philipp Albert Zimmermann (born March 19, 1806 in Berlin ; † in the 19th century ) was a German teacher and politician.

Albert Zimmermann was the son of the royal returnee Christian Friedrich Zimmermann and his wife Wilhelmine Friederike Antonie nee Liman. Zimmermann, who was a Protestant denomination, married Franziska Antonie Nathalie Seiffert (born November 26, 1816 in Berlin) on July 17, 1838 in Berlin, the daughter of the banker Anton Seyffert. The wife was originally of Jewish faith (the birth name is Fanny Antonie Nathalie Seyffert) and was baptized on January 8, 1817 in Berlin.

Zimmermann studied in Berlin where he received his Dr. phil. received his doctorate. In 1828 he became a collaborator at the Berlin grammar school and in 1833 a full teacher. From 1837 to 1867 he was a professor at the Friedrich Werderschen Gymnasium in Berlin.

In 1850 he was a member of the Volkshaus of the Erfurt Union Parliament .
