Alberto Cento
Alberto Cento (* 1920 in Pollenza , † 1968 in Naples ) was an Italian Romance and French scholar .
life and work
Cento studied in Rome with Pietro Paolo Trompeo and graduated in 1945. From 1947 to 1949 he was a lecturer in Italian at the University of Toulouse , then until 1957 a high school teacher in Milan . He went to Naples and was an assistant at the University of Naples L'Orientale until 1961 . From 1961 he taught at the University of Naples , most recently as professor of French language and literature.
