Giannis Kondis ( Greek Γιάννης Κόντης , also Albi Kondi , Greek Άλμπι Κόντη, born January 4, 1989 in Albania ) is a Greek football player .

The Albanian-born attacking midfielder relocated to Greece with his family when he was four. There he went through the youth departments AO Panaxiakos ' and Panionios Athens until 2008, but came to Athens under coach Ewald Lienen during his youth for his first appearances in Greece's highest men's division, the Super League . So he made his debut for Panionios on August 27 of the 2006/07 season at the age of 17 and completed eight more missions during the season.

At the beginning of the subsequent 2007/08 season , Kondis was one of Athens' regulars, but then lost his place in the starting line-up and was awarded to second division AO Chaidari after eight league and four UEFA Cup appearances for Panionios during the winter break , with the he relegated to the third division at the end of the season.

Then Kondis returned to Panionios, but came there only to four appearances in the Super League during the 2008/09 season . During the winter break, the club therefore awarded him again to the second division, in which Kondis played seven appearances for Apollon Kalamarias and scored his first competitive goal in the men's area on April 5, 2009. Since he was no longer taken into account in Panionios' plans, he did not return to his former youth club. Instead, the two-time national youth player (U-19) completed a trial training session with the German second division team Hansa Rostock .
