Albin Braig (* 1951 in Stuttgart ) is a German dialect actor and director of the Komede-Scheuer in the Mäulesmühle in Leinfelden-Echterdingen .

Braig's star role is the figure of Hannes he created in the series of sketches Hannes and the Mayor , who, as an apparently stupid official messenger , repeatedly tricked the educated mayor with quick-witted peasant cunning. Albin Braig and Karlheinz Hartmann , the mayor's actor, have known each other since their school days in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf . Today both live in Herrenberg . One of the most famous phrases as Hannes is "I don't hear myself say 'no'" when he is offered a schnapps, or "No schnapps after dinner is the brightest poison".

Albin Braig has taken over the management of the Komede-Scheuer ( Swabian for "Komödien-Scheune") from his father Otto Braig († 1997), with whom he has staged several comedies that are well-known in Swabian dialect. Some of the plays were recorded by Süddeutscher Rundfunk and Südwestrundfunk and broadcast on the third television program.

In addition, Albin Braig played a farmer who found a corpse in the crime scene episode Murder Is Not a Business (1983), and in the crime scene episode Eine Seen den Körde (1986) the union-loyal police master Göbel, who identified the murder weapon. Albin Braig is the father of the actor Bastian Braig , who also appears in the Komede-Scheuer.
