Alden McNee McLaughlin, Jr. MBE JP MLA (born September 6, 1961 in George Town , Cayman Islands) is a politician in the Cayman Islands .

Since May 29, 2013 he is Prime Minister of the Cayman Islands (Premier of the Cayman Islands) . As Prime Minister he replaced Juliana O'Connor-Connolly .

At the same time he is in personal union Minister of Home Affairs, Health and Culture .

His learned profession is a lawyer .
