Aldo Lagrutta

Aldo Lagrutta (* 1962 in Potenza , Italy) is a Venezuelan guitarist of Italian origin.

biography

The son of an Italian businessman got his first guitar at the age of 15. Under the guidance of Leopoldo Igarza , Lagrutta turned to studying the classical guitar. He completed the normally nine-year course at the conservatory in just three years. At the age of 17 he was appointed "Professor Ejecutante", making him the youngest professor in Venezuela's history. At the same time he was active in the faculty of the Conservatorio de Musica National in Caracas . Lagrutta was later trained by the composer Antonio Lauro .

Aldo Lagrutta plays an Eberhard Kreul guitar .
