Eberhard Kreul

Eberhard Kreul (born November 6, 1937 - † November 9, 2018 ) was a German guitar maker . He lived and worked in Erlbach (Vogtland) .

Live and act

Kreul learned the craft of guitar making from his father. From 1960 he was able to continue a family tradition of over a hundred years and bring in the experience gained over several generations.

Special guitars were made in his master workshop, B. since 1995 the "model Carlevaro" (without conventional sound hole ) and a double floor guitar. He received patent rights for these two guitar types .

Famous guitarists who play Kreul guitars include: a. Abel Carlevaro († 2001), Aldo Lagrutta , Eduardo Fernández and Pal Paulikovics .
