Aleh Loban

Aleh Loban (born January 15, 1985 ) is a Belarusian weightlifter .

Career

Loban was 2004 Junior European Champion and 2005 Junior Vice World Champion. At the World Championships in 2006 he reached eighth place in the class up to 105 kg. In 2007 he was fifth at the European Championships . During a training control he tested positive for Metandienone in 2009 and was banned for two years. After his suspension, he finished sixth at the 2013 European Championships . At the World Championships in the same year he won bronze in the snatch, but in the push he did not succeed in a valid attempt. In 2015 he again reached sixth place at the European Championships .
