Alejandro Pérez (born May 27, 1975 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender .

Life

Pérez began his professional career at Club Universidad Nacional , for which he made his debut in the Mexican Primera División on October 17, 1993 in the 4-1 away win against the Monarcas Morelia .

He scored his only two first division goals in Torneo Verano 1997 in a 1-0 win against Atlante on February 16, 1997 and in a 2-1 win at Clásico Capitalino against arch-rivals America on April 27, 1997.

After six years and 104 first division appearances with the Pumas, he moved to UAG Tecos in 1999 and a year later to Mexico's most popular club, Chivas Guadalajara .

For this he came on August 2, 2000 in the Copa Merconorte against the Venezuelan representative Estudiantes de Mérida for use and scored the important connection goal to 1: 2, which initiated the turnaround for the later 3-2 victory of his team.
