Alen Petrović (born November 5, 1969 ) is a former Croatian football player and current sports director .

Player career

Petrović played for NK Osijek in his native Croatia before moving to Portugal to Belenenses Lisbon in 1994 . There he played 27 times in the Primeira Liga . After a year he went back to Croatia to Croatia Zagreb , where he played until 1998. He then signed with VfL Bochum . Bochum played in the Bundesliga , in which he made his debut on the second match day against Hamburger SV , in the 1-0 defeat he was 90 minutes on the pitch. In the 1998/99 season , Petrović rose, he had played seven games, with Bochum in the 2nd Bundesliga .

He then moved back to Croatia and played for NK Slaven Belupo Koprivnica , NK Osijek and NK Marsonia Slavonski Brod .

Career as a sports director

Since February 2016 he has been sports director at his home club NK Osijek. He already held this office from 2005 to 2009.
