Alena Reji (* 1999 ) is an Indian cyclist who specializes in the short-term disciplines of track cycling .

Athletic career

In 2017, Alena Reji won the bronze medal in the 500-meter time trial at the Asian Junior Championships , improving the Indian record for women juniors. In the team sprint, she and Shushikala Agashe also won bronze, the first medal in the team sprint at Asian Championships for Indian athletes.

The following year Reji was nominated for the World Railroad Championships in Apeldoorn , where she competed in a team sprint with Deborah Herold . The duo took last place.

Alenas Reji was also nominated for the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia in April .
