Alessandro Proni
Alessandro Proni (born December 28, 1982 ) is a former Italian cyclist .
Career
In 2004 Alessandro Proni won a section of the U23 stage race Giro di Toscana . He then drove with the Formaggi Pinzolo Fiavè team as a stagiaire . From 2007 to 2008 Proni competed for the Belgian ProTeam Quick Step-Innergetic and won the third stage of the Tour de Suisse 2007 as a solo winner. In 2013 he competed in the Giro d'Italia 2013 and was 88. After the end of the 2013 season, he ended his career.
In the course of the doping investigation by the Public Prosecutor of Padua at the end of 2014, he was suspected of having been a customer of the controversial sports medicine specialist Michele Ferrari .
