Alex Hug
Alex Hug (* 1943 in Adliswil , Canton of Zurich ) is a Swiss musician.
He studied at the Conservatory in Zurich, where he graduated with an organ concert diploma. Further studies were under Maurice Duruflé in Paris and church music studies at the Cologne University of Music .
From 1978 to 2008 Alex Hug was organist and choir director at the Fraumünster in Zurich, and he also works as a composer .
He has published several long-playing records and CDs that have been recorded on the Fraumünster organ, some of which contain his own compositions. Hug gives organ concerts and performs regularly in cities such as Wiesbaden , Milan and Salzburg .
