Alexander M. Pardee (born February 5, 1976 in Antioch , California ) is an American painter , comic artist and graphic designer , who was best known for his design of cover art for the death metal band In Flames and the rapper Cage . He is a member of the Zerofriends designer group .
style
Pardee's works mostly show creatures with many limbs, distorted proportions and faces. Frequently occurring image elements are horns and tentacles .
He uses pencils, ink and watercolors . The pictures are often very colorful and shrill, which is in contrast to the horror- like motifs.
