Alex Spanos

Alexander Spanos (born September 28, 1923 in Stockton , California - † October 9, 2018 ) was an American entrepreneur in the real estate industry and owner of the NFL team Los Angeles Chargers . His net worth was $ 1.2 billion , according to Forbes .

Life

Alex Spanos was born to Constantinos and Evanthia Spanos. In 1942 he left college and joined the United States Air Force . In 1960 he founded AG Spanos Companies , which operates in the real estate industry.

In 2008 Spanos announced that it had dementia. In the same year he received the Order of Honor from the President of Greece .

In 1948 he married Faye Papafaklis, who died in August 2018. When he died, they had four children, twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
