Alexander Almer

Alexander Almer (born April 7, 1959 in Weiz ) is an Austrian badminton player and coach. Hertha Obritzhauser is his wife.

Career

Alexander Almer won six Austrian titles each in the adult and junior classes. At the Swiss Open he came second twice in mixed and once third at the Polish International. From 1980 to 1988 he took part in five European championships and achieved 9th place in the men's doubles in 1988 and 10th place in the team ranking of the same year as the best place. In 1990, he took 3rd place in the European Cup with the BSC 70 Linz.
