Alexander Andrejew ( Russian Александр Андреев ; born July 2, 1983 in Moscow , Soviet Union ) is a Russian pianist.

Life

Andreev graduated from the Gnessin Institute in Moscow with Alexander Alexandrow (Russian Александр Алехандров ) and Wera Nossina (Russian Вера Носина ). He then did his doctorate at the Moscow Conservatory with Juri Slessarew (Russian Юрий Степанович Слесарев ) and Jelena Sorokina (Russian Елена Сокорина ). In 1997 Andreev received the 2nd prize in the competition "Young Musicians of Moscow" (Russian Юные музыканты Москвы). In 1998 Andrejew, who had already received piano lessons from Mirmann at the age of 6, was laureate of the festival “Days of Sergiev Rachmaninoff in Moscow” (Russian Дни Сергея Рахманинова в Москве). In 1998 and 1999 Andreev took part in the international pianist course "Sergei Rachmaninoff" in the city and in 2001 at the Festival of Arts in Sarov.

repertoire

Andreyev has played in the chamber ensemble of the Moscow Conservatory since 2004 and won the Grand Prix of the International Competition Art of the 21st Century (Russian Искусство XXI века) in 2005 and 2006 and has repeatedly won prizes in international competitions such as the International Conservatory Week ( Saint-Petersburg, 2006). In addition, Andrejew has appeared in international concert halls in a piano duo with Julia Getallo since 2004.
