Alexander Bertsch

Alexander Bertsch (born February 4, 1940 in Heilbronn ) is a German writer .

life and work

He studied literature , music and philosophy and was then a music teacher at the Elly-Heuss-Knapp-Gymnasium Heilbronn . In 1987 he published the volume of poetry vanishing points . This was followed by the novels How Ashes in the Wind (1993), The Endless Journey (1999) and Love, Art and Death (2004). Bertsch also writes texts for cabaret and for the stage: Dreams Downstream (musical), the Käthchenthema in different variations for the Theaterschiff Heilbronn and Die cunning women from Weinsberg (play with music based on the Treu-Weiber incident ). In 2001 he took part in the Segni di Pace (Sign of Peace) cultural project in Rome .

Bertsch lives in Abstatt near Heilbronn.
