Alexander Nikolajewitsch Filippow ( Russian Александр Николаевич Филиппов ; born February 10, 1951 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player .
Career
Filippov played as a defender at HK Dynamo Moscow . In total, he scored 12 goals in 298 games in the Soviet league . He was appointed to the Soviet national ice hockey team at an early age . On November 4, 1973 he was in a game against Finland for the first time for the Sbornaja on the ice. His international career was crowned with a gold medal at the ice hockey world championships in 1975. For the national team, he scored 3 goals in 23 international matches. On May 5, 1975 he played his last international match.
