Alexander Guem (born March 6, 1977 ) is a former Austrian football player.
life and career
The man from Vorarlberg began his career at SK Brederis as a youth. From 2002 to 2003 he played 22 games in the second division for Lustenau. In 2003 he moved to SCR Altach in the Regionalliga West . He was promoted twice with the Altach team in 2003 and 2006 and from 2006 has played in Austria's top division, the Bundesliga . Guem is a reliable regular at the Ländlekicker. Guem made his debut in the Bundesliga on July 19, 2006 against SV Pasching .
In 2007, 2008 and 2009 Guem was voted Vorarlberg's Footballer of the Year .
