Alexander Ivanovich Gorshkov
Alexander Ivanovich Gorschkow ( Russian Александр Иванович Горшков , English transcription Aleksandr Gorshkov; born November 25, 1928 in Moscow ; † January 20, 1993 ) was a Soviet javelin thrower .
In 1955 he won silver at the World Youth and Student Festival , and in 1956 he was eighth at the Melbourne Olympics .
He set his personal best of 77.60 m on August 11, 1956 in Moscow .
