Alexander Kastenhuber

Alexander Kastenhuber (born November 12, 1967 in Bad Reichenhall ) is a former German cyclist .

"Kasti" started his career at RSV Traunstein and later moved to RSG Nürnberg . As an amateur , he won the German Mountain Championship in 1995 and was third at the German Road Championships in 1990 and 1991. In 1991, he won the overall ranking of the Regio Tour and in 1993 the Bayern Tour and in 1994 the Tour of New Caledonia .

In 1996 Kastenhuber into the professional camp for Nuremberg team . A kneecap fracture during the Tour of Austria in 1997 put an end to his successful career, but after a six-month rehabilitation phase he returned. In 1998 he reached third place in the Styria Tour . In 2000 he ended his career.

From 2010 to 2016 Alexander Kastenhuber was first chairman of the RSV Freilassing .
