Alexander Koch (born February 24, 1988 in Detroit , Michigan ) is an American actor .

life and career

Alexander Koch was born and raised in Detroit , Michigan . His roots are Italian, German and Lebanese. He went to the theater school at DePaul University and played there in a few plays. In 2012 he graduated from school with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He currently resides in Los Angeles .

He made his acting debut in 2011 as Frank in the short film The Ghosts , which was presented at the 2011 Brooklyn Film Festival . He became known in 2013 for the role of James "Junior" Rennie in the television series Under the Dome , which is also his first major acting role. The series is based on the novel The Arena by Stephen King .
