Alexander Kowalski

Alexander Kowalski (* 1978 in Greifswald ) is a German techno and house producer. In addition to his real name, he continues to publish under the pseudonyms D Func , DisX3 and Mr. Discotheque feat. Mrs. Caketooth .

Born in Greifswald, Kowalski moved to Berlin in 1986 , where he has lived since then. His musical career began in 1997 after discovering techno and house records. He bought equipment and produced his first pieces of music. After first appearances as a live act, his track "The Wide Theater" was released in 1998 under the alias DisX3 on the compilation of the Berlin label Tresor Records entitled "Headquarters" . In 1999 his first EPs and in 2001 his first LP “Echoes” appeared on Kanzleramt Records . The albums "Progress" (2002) and "Response" (2004) were also released.

In 2006 the album "Changes" was released, which Kowalski made much more house-like.
