Alexander Malchow

Alexander Malchow (born September 11, 1969 in Bremen ) is a former German soccer player and current coach .

Career as a player

In 1976 Alexander Malchow came to Werder Bremen , where he was used in the league team from 1988 to 1992. In 1992/93 he gained his first second division experience at VfB Oldenburg . In the following season he was active for Eintracht Braunschweig in the league. In 1994 he was signed by the then regional league team Stuttgarter Kickers . After two years he rose with this club to the second division , where he was active for another four seasons. During the winter break of the 1999/2000 season he moved to the regional league for FC Augsburg for half a year , before joining the second division SSV Reutlingen 05 in summer 2000signed. On February 1, 2003 he went to the Kickers again; there he played in the regional league until summer 2005. In total, he was used 198 times in the second division and scored 24 goals. He scored 31 times in 155 regional league games.

Career as a coach

After he was player-coach at SV Hoffeld in the district league A from summer 2004 to the end of 2005, he worked in the same position at the upper division club SG Sonnenhof Großaspach from the beginning of 2006 to summer 2007 . He was then assistant coach at the Stuttgarter Kickers from November 19, 2007 until the end of the 2012/13 season. From March 17, 2010 to the end of the 2009/10 season, he was also the coach of the U19 youth team of the Stuttgarter Kickers. Alexander Malchow currently runs a football school in Stuttgart. Since the summer of 2016 he has been the coach of the Stuttgart district league A team, FV Germania Degerloch 1897 , after coaching their D youth team the year before. Alexander Malchow has been leading and organizing football camps nationwide since 2014.
