Alexander Schenk (born November 12, 1978 ) is an Austrian football goalkeeper . He currently plays in the "Carinthian League" at ASKÖ Köttmannsdorf .

Career

Schenk began his career at FC Kärnten . First he played in the youth department and later in the amateurs, before he was brought into the first team squad in 2000. In 2001 he rose to the top division of Austria as a substitute goalkeeper with the Carinthians. In the same year he won the ÖFB Cup and the Supercup.

That year he also made his debut in the top Austrian division, but Schenk remained a substitute goalkeeper for the southern Austrians. In 2003 he was deported to the BSV Juniors Villach satellite club . After only one year with the Villachers , he moved to Styria for DSV Leoben , where he was the regular goalkeeper until 2009. In 2010 he moved back to Carinthia and played for SK Austria Klagenfurt in the Regionalliga Mitte until the winter transition period 2013/14. In January 2014 there was a change to the Klagenfurt-based Annabichler SV (who competed in the 2013/14 season as Austria Klagenfurt's "farm team" in the Carinthian League). In July 2014 he moved a little south of Klagenfurt to ASKÖ Köttmannsdorf , which, like Annabichl, plays in the Carinthian League.
