Alexander Suslin ha-Kohen
Alexander Suslin ha-Kohen (also: Süslin ha-Kohen ; Suskind ; Süsskind ; * in Erfurt ; † before 1349 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German Talmudist .
When Alexander Suslin Meir von Rothenburg († 1293) met, he was already well respected. In this respect, it is estimated that he was at least 25 years old at the time. He was first a rabbi in Cologne and Worms and then went to Frankfurt. Claims that he died in Erfurt in 1349 are probably based on a confusion with Israel ben Joel Susslin .
Suslin published the work Aguddah (Association or The Collection , literally "a bundle"; also Sefer HaAguda ). The manuscript was later edited by Joseph ben Mordechai Gershon .
