Joseph ben Mordechai Gershon

Joseph ben Mordechai Gershon ha-Kohen (* 1510 in Krakow , † 1591 ) was a Polish Talmudist .

He began studying the Talmud at an early age. He became head of the Talmud College founded by his father-in-law .

One of his correspondents was Solomon Luria .

He corrected the manuscript Aguddah by Alexander Suslin ha-Kohen (Süslin Alexander ha-Kohen).
