Alexander Willberg
Alexander Willberg (* 1955 in Cologne ) is a German flight instructor and author of several books on the sport of gliding .
Career
Willberg is a qualified social pedagogue (graduated in 1981 in Cologne) and has been managing director of a social communal company in Schleswig-Holstein since 1996. In Cologne he studied social education alongside art with a focus on graphics and caricature. For several years he was employed as a full-time flight instructor at flight schools.
He is essentially responsible for the establishment of the youth education center in Ratzburg (JuBi), in which disadvantaged young people, among other things, overhaul and repair older gliders.
Since September 1997 he has succeeded Gerd Allerdissen as chairman of the federal committee for culture in the German Aero Club . The working basis is the Braunschweig Charter.
