Alexandra Boylan

Alexandra Boylan (born October 7, 1979 in Georgetown ) is an American actress, screenwriter and film producer. She is a co-founder of the film production companies Mustard Seed Entertainment and MirrorTree Productions .

Life

Alexandra Boylan grew up in Georgetown, Massachusetts, where she began her acting career. She then moved to Los Angeles , where she was tutored by Harry Mastrogeorge . She began working as an actress in independent films , music videos, and short films. This also gave rise to the desire to become active as a producer and so she founded the production company MirrorTree Productions, which brought out the films Home Sweet Home (2012) and At Your Own Risk (2018) , among others .

Together with her older sister Andrea Polnaszek and her husband John KD Graham she founded the Christian production company Mustard Seed Entertainment . Her husband was also the director of the films she produced, Catching Faith (2015) and Wish for Christmas (2016).

Boylan is a board member of Woman in Film Los Angeles and is the outreach coordinator and writer for Ms. in the Biz , a website for women in the film business. She wrote the book Thriving in Hollywood with Helenna Santos, the site's creator ! . She is also the author of Create Your Own Career in Hollywood: Advice from a Struggling Actress Who Became a Successful Producer .
