Alexandre Afonso Nunes

Alexandre (Alexandrino) Afonso Nunes (born January 28, 1965 in Bobonaro , Portuguese Timor ) is a politician from East Timor . He is a member of the Partido Democrático (PD) .

Political career

In 2011 Nunes was appointed head of the agricultural development department in Bobonaro.

In the 2017 elections , Nunes was number 10 in the list. The PD won only seven seats, but three candidates who were placed in front of them gave up their seats, so that Nunes moved up as a member of the East Timorese national parliament . In the parliamentary elections in 2018 , Nunes once again missed entry into parliament on list position 8.
