Alexandre Chabot (born December 27, 1981 ) is a French climber .

Alexandre Chabot is one of the most successful competitive climbers . He says he started climbing in 1994. Between 2000 and 2005 he won 21 World Cups and won the overall World Cup three times . He was also twice European champion (2000 and 2002), three times Rockmaster (2002, 2003 and 2004) and seven times French champion (1999, 2001 to 2005 and 2006). At the 2005 World Championships in Munich, he was third. On the natural rock, he succeeded in first ascents and repetitions of routes up to the French level of difficulty “9a”. In 2003 he was the first climber in the world to climb an 8c route ( Le Cadre in Céüse ) in the Flash .
