Alexandre Le Berre

Alexandre Le Berre (born March 10, 1925 in Pléneuf-Val-André , † May 30, 1975 in Saint-Cast-le-Guildo ) was a French football player .

Career

Le Berre started playing football at an amateur club from the Breton town of Lamballe ; he was 22 years old when he was signed by the first division club Stade Rennes in 1947 and thus made the leap into paid football . The striker made his debut in the top French league on September 21, 1947 in a 4-4 draw of his team against CO Roubaix-Tourcoing , where he was able to score his first goal.

After regular assignments in his first season at Rennes, he hardly played a role in the second year; In view of this, he ended his professional career in 1949 after 20 first division games with five goals and returned to his ex-club in Lamballe.
