Alexandros Alexakis

Alexandros Georgiou Alexakis ( Greek Αλέξανδρος Γεωργίου Αλεξάκης , born April 19, 1960 in Volos ) is professor of Byzantine literature at the University of Ioannina . Cyril Mango is one of his teachers at Oxford University . Alexakis works mainly on the literature and culture of Byzantine iconoclasm and the history of councils .
