Alexandru Boc (born June 3, 1946 in Vaşcău , Bihor County ) is a former Romanian football player . The Libero denied 224 games in the highest Romanian football league, the Divizia A .

Career

Boc began his career in 1964 at Petrolul Ploieşti , where he came on October 11, 1964 for his first use in Divizia A (now League 1 ). In the 1965/66 season , the club was with him as a regular Romanian champions. After losing his regular place in the following season, he moved to league rivals Dinamo Bucharest in 1967 .

After being locked in the season 1969/1970 for one season, because of a prison stay, Boc joined Sportul Studenţesc in the Divizia B . There he narrowly missed promotion, but was able to switch to Rapid Bucharest after the season , where he won the Romanian Cup in 1972 . In the two years that Boc played for Rapid, the club no longer fought for the championship, but for relegation, so that Boc took the chance in 1973 to move to Universitatea Craiova . There he won the championship again in the 1973/74 season and ended his active career in 1976.

National team

Boc played a total of six games for the Romanian national football team between 1967 and 1971 , but scored no goal. He made his debut on January 4, 1967 against Uruguay .
