Alexei Grigoryev

Alexei Grigoryev ( Russian Алексей Григорьев ; English Alexey Grigoryev ; born March 29, 1989 in Leningrad , Soviet Union ) is a Russian pianist .

Life

From 2000 to 2007 Grigoryev received scholarships from the St. Petersburg Philharmonic . Until 2007 he attended the gifted school of the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in Saint Petersburg . Since 2006 he has been studying at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow .

Grigoryev won the "Heinrich Neuhaus Festival" in Moscow in 2003 and a diploma at the "Ettore Pozzoli Competition" in Seregno ( Italy ) in 2009 . He has given concerts as a soloist across Europe, including with the State Academic Symphony Orchestra St. Petersburg . In 2010 he was one of six international participants to win the Audience Award at the Kissinger Piano Olympics .
