Alexei Konstantinowitsch Lebedew
Alexei Konstantinowitsch Lebedew ( Russian Алексей Константинович Лебедев ; born December 9, 1924 in Dankow , Lipetsk Oblast ; † July 11, 1993 in Moscow ) was a Russian tuba player and composer .
Life
Alexei Lebedew studied tuba with Vladislaw Blazhevich and later (1945–1949) with Vladimir Schezbacow at the Moscow Conservatory . He was a long-time member of the orchestra of the Moscow Bolshoi Theater and taught at the Moscow Conservatory.
